Phase I Orthodontics
Most orthodontic treatments begin after all baby teeth have been replaced by adult teeth, but in some cases, early intervention with Phase I orthodontics can offer better results. By addressing certain issues early on, we can achieve improved symmetry, more effective tooth movement, and shorter overall treatment time. For our pediatric patients, we routinely perform orthodontic evaluations, ensuring that any potential issues are caught early.
If your child isn’t currently a patient with us, we recommend scheduling an orthodontic evaluation around the age of 9 to 10. This assessment can easily be done during a regular check-up, giving us the opportunity to determine if early intervention may benefit your child’s smile.
